Mock Orange

The mock orange, named for its floral resemblance to a citrus blossom rather than to the tree itself, is prevalent in Hawaii as a bordering bush or topiary.  Its evergreen leaves and hardy nature make it an easy-to-groom hedge in many yards, including mine!  The white flowers really do look like they belong on a citrus tree, however, are more pungent and heady.
