Lotus #8
A pond with blooming lotus is certainly a treat. It affords me many opportunities to capture this beauty. Nelumbo nucifera is well depicted in Indian culture…the seat on which sits Buddha. This lends to the representation of purity of the body, speech, and mind, as he sits floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire.
